How ESTF amounts work in 2026-27

Private school, pre-K: Check with the program. We haven't confirmed whether this program covers pre-K. Check the official site before you count on it.
Private school, grades K-12: $7,634 per child. One amount for every ESTF student, with or without an IEP.
Homeschool: not eligible. Students registered as homeschoolers (Options 1, 2 or 3) can't use ESTF. Families can still learn at home inside ESTF instead of registering as a homeschool.

Private school: Four equal deposits, each released after that quarter's enrollment verification. 1st (25%): On or before Jul 31, 2026; 2nd (25%): On or before Sep 30, 2026; 3rd (25%): On or before Dec 31, 2026; 4th (25%): On or before Feb 28, 2027.

Unused money rolls over for students who renew.
The 2026-27 program is full at 15,000 students. The 2027-28 award is set at $7,795, and its first application window opens Nov 1, 2026.
