How TEFA amounts work in 2026-27
- Private school: $10,474 per child, paid 25% in July or mid-August, 25% on Oct 1 and 50% on Feb 1.
- Private school with an IEP: up to $30,000, based on your school district and the setting on your child's IEP. Most students get less.
- Homeschool: $2,000 per child in one deposit, with or without an IEP.
